Welcome to the blog of Dr. Tom Collyer. My mathematical background is in geometry and topology. By trade, I am a risk modeller. I am also an accomplished puzzle solver and author.

My puzzle posting dates back to May 2009; I try and post on a Friday where my time allows.

I am a "Contributing Puzzlemaster" for Grandmaster Puzzles. My published puzzles can be found here.

I have previously been the Competition Director for the 2016 WPF Sudoku Grand Prix, and the 9th World Sudoku Championships, held in London in August 2014. I have also written a report on the subject: "What is a Sudoku?"
