Nice, Tom, but can't be too hard if I can do it in a few minutes.
I'm probably wrong, but isn't there a choice of routes through the middle two cells of the top two rows? Is such a thing regarded as OK as long as the route through the defined cells is forced?
AJ - numbering columns left to right and rows top to bottom, I assume you mean R2C5 and R2C6? The route of the loop through those two cells is definitely determined by the black pearl in R2C4. This in turn forces the route of the loop through R1C5 and R1C6.
Perhaps you could send me an e-mail with what you've got before I give too much more of the game away publicly?
Hmm, feeling foolish now. Don't have my first copy on me so did it again and there's definitely no ambiguity. Actually, I'm sure the path looks different. If I can find the original I'll let you know where I goofed.
No worries AJ - I definitely prefer to have some comments rather than no comments - even if the problem mysteriously resolves itself. Glad you managed to sort everything out :)
Very nice one (hard) after a long time.
ReplyDeleteThe start was pretty easy, but the ending is nice.
Took 4-5 minutes.
Thanks
Ravi
Enjoyed the pause and work it out moment in the middle. Thanks for a fun start to my Friday morning.

ReplyDeleteAnd I meant to say Good Luck, but forgot.
